Hyena

Hyenas are dog-like animals which live in Africa and Asia.   They are about the size of a large dog and travel in packs of up to 100.   They hunt at night and make a laughing sound when they catch and fight over their food.   Two kinds of hyenas - the striped and the brown - are endangered.
