Leopard


 
Habitat: Mostly found on the rainforest floor. Grasslands. Rainforest to dry savanna. Can adapt to many different climates. Parts of Africa, South Asia, Arabia and the Far East.
 
Diet:Omniverous, monkeys, snakes, birds, and crabs.
 
Enemies: Humans, lions, and hyenas.
 
Facts: There are five species of leopards in the genus Panthera.
Is one of the fastest land animals.
 
There are many different species of leopards and some are black.
Loves to climb trees.
 
Leopards have sharp teeth called canines.
They use their claws and teeth as weapons. Their claws are razor sharp.
 
Leopards give birth to up to 4 cubs.

Males weigh up to 300 pounds and females weigh up to 200 pounds.

Leopards are mostly nocturnal.
