- Bush pigs have
been known to be carriers of disease like the virus for the African
swine fever. Also, they sometimes carry tsetse flies which are responsible
for illnesses like sleeping sickness.

of hearing and smell is excellent.

system of "grunts" to communicate with other Bush pigs.
