Cana
in Galilee was the place where Jesus began to perform miracles.
He made his glory public there, and his disciples believed in
him.

- Jesus
did many miracles while he was on earth. People saw him
do them and believed that he was the Son of God.
- Jesus'
first miracle was when Jesus and his friends were at a wedding.
Jesus' mother was there also.
- In
the middle of the wedding celebration the host ran out of
the wine which was being served to the guests. It would
have been poor manners to stop serving the guests. So Jesus'
mother came and asked him to help with the problem.
- The
servants brought six big jars to Jesus. He told them to
fill the jars with water. Then he said, "Now dip some
out and take it to the host." When the host took a
drink, it wasn't water anymore; it was wine! And it was
even better than the wine they had been serving!
