The
Gallery shows contemporary and modern art, including conceptual art and
installations, pop art, and art incorporating video, film, performance and
new media. It also includes the broadest manifestations of painting, sculpture
and other 'fine arts'. Recent
exhibitions have included 'Concept and Experiment in Britain, 1965-1975'
and admission to this and future exhibitions is usually free.
