Palazzo della Carovana dei Cavalieri

The square on which this building stands was also designed by Vasari. It takes its name from the knights (cavalieri) of St. Stephen who fought against the Moors. This building, now a university (the Scuola Normale Superiore), was built to celebrate the order of St. Stephen's knights. The curvilinear facade is decorated with graffiti and features an impressive staircase.
