Comic Book Heros of the Golden Age
During the mid-1930's, a new type of comic book star came out. Superheros became the new rage in comic book popularity. The superheros were mostly strong, muscular men, who had an alternative identity. There were usually two sides to the superhero, the everyday person with a regular job and life, and the strong superhero that only appeared when there was an emergency, or a life threatening situation.
