| This is a pictorial example of
the old adage: "Don’t put all your eggs in one basket". Like all my
drawings it is done on white paper. The background is charcoal and the eggs
are rendered in graphite pencil. To get the most three-dimensional look
possible, I always set up my still lifes in the studio and draw directly
from life. After a week, the smell from the broken egg was giving me
incentive to complete this one as quickly as possible. |
