T.Smith, Public Architecture, an etching of parts of London-wall and Bethlem Hospital, 22 x30cms, and an astonishing ly controlled study in textures and differentiation. This is a rare print - I can't remember it being reproduced, perhaps because of the apparent drabness of the subject. There is no strong hierarchy of objects or apparent narrative.It is nevertheless an astonishing image.
