The triangle
got its name from its shape. It is made of metal and is hit with a metal
beater. When the beater is moved quickly between two sides of the triangle,
a roll results.How to play: Suspend the triangle in the air at shoulderhieght. The open end of the triangle should be to your left (if right-handed). Strike the triangle with a light, quick wrist motion. Strike either the outside right hand corner near the top, or the inside right corner of the base.
