St. Justa and St. Rufina, were two sisters, natives of Seville. According to a legend they were potters. Once they refused to sell their products for the rituals devoted to Venus, and in answer to the persisted demands to sell, broke their pots. They were accused of Christianity and executed. They are martyrs and saint patrons of Seville. |
