A painter, muralist, designer and worker in stained glass, Charles Connick was bron in Springboro, Pennsylvania and settled in the Boston area where he was active in the Boston Art Club, the Mural Painters, and the Copley Society. He did many stained glass commissions for churches and chapels including in Pittsburgh, San Francisco, Chicago, Boston, and Washington DC. He also wrote a book, "Adventures in Light and Color" (1937), and a series for Random House titled "International Studio" (1923-24). |
