Crite, Allan Rohan (1910 - )

Born in Plainfield, New Jersey, he was raised and lived the remainder of his life in Boston. He studied at the Boston Museum School of Fine Arts from 1929-36. His work, including many murals, focuses on African-American life in the urban neighborhoods of Boston. He has lectured widely and earned numerous awards.
