Mueck, Ron (1958 - )

Born Melbourne, Australia, 1958. From late 1970s to mid-1980s, worked in children’s television, then in motion picture special effects. Traveled to Los Angeles for six months in 1986, then moved to London. In 1990 switched to advertising and ran own business for six years. Made and exhibited first independent sculptures in 1996-97. Appointed Associate Artist at the National Gallery, London, February 2000-02. Lives and works in London
