Mount Hili Aludo, Indonesia

Mount Hili Aludo is an 1800 ft (600 m) volcano on the island of Nias, Indonesia. It began erupting on May 13 for the first time in 40 years. At least 60 families were evacuated from the areas nearest the volcano. The eruption was continuing as of May 17. Possibilities of larger, more violent eruptions still exist.
