Sea lions are occasionally preyed upon by killer whales, great
white, hammerhead, and blue sharks. They are also known to have
such diseases as pneumonia, caused by a parasitic lungworm, and a
bacterial infection called leptospirosis, which affects their
livers and kidneys. |
