Initially it was planned, to perform only a stripwise, two dimensional airfoil analysis for various spanwise sections, so that any effects caused by spanwise flow components could not be modelled. It was uncertain, whether some crossflow would occur due to observed spanwise differences in the pressure distributions. This lead to the numerical analysis of a more realistic, three dimensional wing segment, whose results are presented first. To illustrate the three dimensional shape of the pressure distribution, a rather large angle of attack of 10° has been chosen. For the two dimensional analysis a more realistic angle of 3° was used.
